October 1-Prayer meetings on Saturday at Doug and Jannelle's 8:00pm- great time to worship the Lord through prayer. Come and check it out.
Also, every Tuesday starting next week there will be a morning of prayer at Doug and Janelle's- 7:30am, that's right a.m but......do not dismay for what better way to start off your day then to pray! (Just because of that beautiful, meticulously rhymed sentence that is to be sung to the tune of an ancient middle eastern ballad, you should all go) But seriously, as Lamentations 2:22-24 says,"Because of the Lords great love we are not consumed, for his compassion's never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, the lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him."(NIV)

HSC Fall Kick-Off!!

Are you in High School? Are you freshly graduated and looking for a place to land? Well in case you forgot its September and HSC is kicking back into full gear starting Sept 8 (Thursday)! Here are a few important facts to take note of going forward:

Sept. 8 - Kick-off at Penner Pumpkins 7:00! Bring $10.50 - this place is a lot of fun, be sure to invite friends!! (Meeting + Pickup @ PP)

Community Groups - You may or may not have known that our high school and college ministries are split into community groups - this is an awesome place to grow with your friends - if you’re not in one now, we’ll be sure to connect you!

1 Peter Study - We live in day of uncertainty - stock markets on the fritz, earthquakes, hurricanes, wars, rumors of war - and the scriptures aren’t new to a world that looks like this. Have you ever thought about suffering? Have you ever thought about what it means to be a Christian in a crazy world? Well, 1 Peter is a book of the Bible that will bring us deep into these questions. Come ready to go deep.

Hands On Service Projects - Every 4 weeks we will be getting out into the community and working with our hands in loving the people of Steinbach and the surrounding area in practical ways. This could mean Helping Hands, baking for people who can’t get out, Siloam Mission, raking lawns, painting houses, Winnipeg harvest, Union Gospel Mission, Prayer walks, Construction projects and whatever else the Lord brings us!

If your on the edge of coming - just come! Especially consider coming for this next weeks kick-off, its a great time to get to know people doing something fun. Hope to see you all soon!!
