Cancelled - March 6

Hey all,

    After some really hard decision making, we've decided to cancel for tonight. There is freezing rain forecast with more snow, with the already sketchy conditions. So, we'll see you next week (or sooner hopefully). Please pass the word if you know someone who wouldn't see this message.

Snow Day - again!

I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful snow day, I know Ezra's pumped. So as usual, we will make a call at 3:00 as to whether youth is on for tonight or not. So check in shortly after 3:00 to get the update. Hopefully we'll see you later!

Tonight...

    Tonight the group will be meeting at the SRSS to watch Brigadoon - starring Valerie!! You will be responsible for pick up and drop off from the school. Next week is back to Bible study!

We're on!

Hey, so I think I can safely say that we're on for youth tonight. Meet at the church at 7:00. We'll be finishing our question from last Bible study of ways that the church functions. And I'm really hoping we can get a good start on the question of "what should we do with the Bible?" Is it God's Word? If so what does that mean?

I'm thinking this should be a good discussion, looking forward to seeing you all!

Jan. 23 Weather Update

So this is becoming a weekly thing - but another day off school on a thursday! Crazy. So, I'm going to use the same standard as last thursday - I'll give a call (here on the blog) at 3:00 this afternoon as to whether Youth will be on for tonight. Enjoy your sweet gift of a day off!

Yes - Tobogganing Tonight!

I just took a drive around and yes we will have youth tonight. That being said, there is some drifting in spots, and the wind can kick up some poor visibility here and there, so DRIVE CAREFULLY, and get the final call from your parents. We will be tobogganing, so dress warm and remember pick up is from our house (186 Kroeker ave), and we're meeting at the church @ 7:00.

Sledding and a Blizzard

I hope you're enjoying the glorious surprise of a snow day!! I'm just finishing french toast with my family, and Ezra is pretty pumped!

We have not made a decision on whether youth is on for this evening yet - we'll see how things develop through the day. We'll have an answer by 3:00 here on the blog.

New Year...and HSC Restarts!

Hello all,

       We're pumped to see you all again this next week! HSC is starting next thursday (12th). Its going to be a Bible Study Night, so come with a Bible and notebook if you have them. Starting at 7:00 at the church.

Also, the cafe is opening this next week again on tuesday!
