UPDATE: THE PARTY IS ON!! Just be careful when you drive and it should be just fine.

SNOW DAY!! I hope you all are enjoying it fully!

Reminder for tonight - dress in the style of the historical period of your liking. Think 80's or 1780's or 1180's or whatever period you want. And don't forget to bring a gift that is second hand and desirable!

Worship night

This week we will be exploring what it means to worship our God - come ready to think a little outside the box. Games to begin the night @ 7:00.

HSC this week is Bible study, starting in the book of Acts! Bring your Bibles!

This week Thursday meet at the church (6:30) to make an excursion to the sandilands for a fort building and night games evening. Come dressed for the woods, and an evening by the fire. We should arrive back at the church at 9:45.

Those who have a buck saw available to them that would be very helpful.

Youth wind up

Hey all - tomorrow is youth wind-up! Cardboard battle extravaganza!

7pm - It's at the Wiebe's (Jeremy & Alyssa's) the directions are below. 

Please bring a lawn chair for by the fire and most importantly - a role of DUCT tape!  It will be very necessary :) (an exacto knife would be good too)

Coming from Steinbach:

Go 3 miles south on Hwy 12, then turn right onto Ridge Road/PR 303.  Go 3 miles down Ridge Road until you reach road 31E. Turn left onto this road.  Go 2.5 miles down 31E until you reach Deerwood Bay.  Take second turnoff into the Bay, and as soon as you turn in, there should be Green Driveway Marker Number 15 on your right.

 

 

Coming from Mitchell:

Take Mitchell Centre Street, and go 6.5 miles south. Here you should reach Deerwood Bay.Take second turnoff into the Bay, and as soon as you turn in, there should be Green Driveway Marker Number 15 on your right.

- we are doing a service project In Steinbach.
- we will be doing at least one seniors visitation (like last time)
- we will be painting a bunch of stuff in the cafe in preparation for reopening.
- we will spend some time chatting about the future and where things are heading

This Thursday....

Thursday - We're heading out to meet and get to know people of our congregation that you may not rub shoulders with regularly. Come ready to chat, hear stories and tell a few of your own. Meet at the church @ 7:00. 

Youth Quake

Youth Quake is coming  February 15-17! It's going to be an awesome time to road trip as friends, listen to some great speakers, great bands (Downhere!) and explore all that Briercrest has prepared for us!

Also, don't forget that its a great time to explore what college life could be like, and visit our college students who are presently attending Briercrest (Mark Guenther, Colton Bercier).

Here's the info:

Cost  - $175 (paid to Briercrest)

         - $25 (Gas)

Leaving early Friday the 15th and Coming home sunday evening.

Tomorrow!!!

Hey all, it's so good to be home and we're pumped to see you all!! I can honestly say I missed you.

If you hadn't heard, tomorrow is cook-off at the church. Think Iron chef meets Jessie :) it should be a blast. If you can bring a few bucks ($ 3-5) to help cover the cost of your groceries (that you will be running to extra foods to be shopping for). We're meeting at the church @ 6:00.
