November Notes...

So as you know my Family and I are heading down to Texas as of this thursday for a month and a half for a time of training, rest and visioning for the future at the Village Church in Flower Mound TX. We're extremely excited for what God has for us while we are down south.

Yet on the other hand we are also excited for what God is going to do here in Steinbach while we're gone. We have been blessed with a leadership team that has shown great character and commitment in the way they serve in HSC. Christian, Izzy, and Ana will be taking the reigns while we are gone. We fully trust these dear friends and are excited how a time like this will grow them as the youth group grows. Christian will be acting in the headship role for the youth group and will take any pressing concerns to Pastor Jared, or the Elder board if need be. 

Note - November 15 will be a UGM night - meet at the church at 5:00. Gerald Wiebe will be a guest driver/chaperone for the evening. Send your questions to Christian, Izzy, or Ana if you have any!

Bible study

Just in case we didn't get the memo to you - Thursday is Bible study, not CG. Looking forward to seeing you all!

HSC Cancelled

Hey guys,

So we've been watching the weather and what it's supposed to be like this evening and we've concluded it would be good for us all to stay home tonight. For the first bible study we want everyone to be able to come. So it'll be bible study next week instead of CG.

An idea - if you want to prep for our next weeks Bible study read through the book of Matthew this week taking note of every time the word 'kingdom' comes up. Also read Daniel 2.
